I have looked at many with admiration and learned from many.

I don’t follow anyone in particular. I like Salvador Dalí for his creativity; Monet for the lightness in the paintings of his gardens; Constable for his skies; Dürer for some paintings, but especially for some memorable engravings; Gigi Petroli, a great contemporary master of engraving and more.

PAINTS

Technique is very important; it is the foundation of every project, allowing you to navigate and master that specific technique as far as you want. After that, you won’t need it anymore. It’s like driving a car: once you’ve learned, it becomes automatic. And for my personal taste in experimenting, I often find myself creating the same work using different techniques.

In my opinion, today as in the past, an artist is someone who, over time, has refined their senses and cultivated their sensitivity, until they transform their experiences into poetry.
