Cresce in entrambe le direzioni, come se

nutrirsi e donare fossero lo stesso gesto.

with branches open like veins of air

and roots laid bare like deep thoughts.

It grows in both directions, as if

to be nourished and to give were the same gesture.

Etching

The etching, an indirect engraving technique, derives its name from the Latin "aquafortis," referring to the acid used: nitric acid. Typically, etchings are numbered from 1 to 100, but I have chosen to create more limited editions to provide further value to the works.
Proces
Etching is a metal engraving technique used to create images. The process begins by covering a plate of copper or zinc with an acid-resistant varnish. The artist then engraves the design into the varnish, exposing the underlying metal.
The plate is then immersed in an acid bath, corrodes the exposed areas, creating the engravings. After rinsing, ink is applied to the plate, which is then pressed onto paper to transfer the image.
