Questa è una delle mie prime opere, nata dall’ammirazione per l’acquaforte di Mantegna del 1480.

Rapita dalla magia della tecnica incisoria, ho voluto mettermi alla prova, cercando di catturare la delicatezza di un gesto eterno.

La Madonna seduta, che stringe teneramente il figlio tra le braccia, non è solo una figura sacra, ma un momento di intimità pura e umana.

Attraverso acquaforte e acquatinta, la luce e l’ombra si intrecciano, rivelando la profondità dei chiaroscuri e la morbidezza del silenzio.

This is one of my early works, born from admiration for Mantegna's etching from 1480.

Captivated by the magic of the engraving technique, I wanted to challenge myself by trying to capture the delicacy of an eternal gesture.

The seated Madonna, tenderly holding her child in her arms, is not just a sacred figure but a moment of pure and human intimacy.

Through etching and aquatint, light and shadow intertwine, revealing the depth of chiaroscuro and the softness of silence.
