Silent messenger of an ancient fairy tale, on whose feathers the reflection of the moon rests, the owl carries with it the memory of distant skies and enchanted nights.

Its gaze evokes worlds suspended between dream and reality, a delicate call to the legends that still live on.

Magical and precise, it seems to want to convey a message that only those who know how to listen can understand.

Etching

The etching, an indirect engraving technique, derives its name from the Latin "aquafortis," referring to the acid used: nitric acid. Typically, etchings are numbered from 1 to 100, but I have chosen to create more limited editions to provide further value to the works.

Proces

Etching is a metal engraving technique used to create images. The process begins by covering a plate of copper or zinc with an acid-resistant varnish. The artist then engraves the design into the varnish, exposing the underlying metal.

The plate is then immersed in an acid bath, corrodes the exposed areas, creating the engravings. After rinsing, ink is applied to the plate, which is then pressed onto paper to transfer the image.
