Gocce di vita rame
Il mio albero "Gocce di Vita" nato nel 1997 è per me l'opera più importante. Ero in attesa di mio figlio Alessandro. Per me è il ciclo continuo dell'energia e della vita stessa ed è il massimo della polarità tra cielo e terra. La Goccia che cade nel terreno, intesa come linfa vitale, nutre l'albero stesso che affondando le sue radici si connette al centro della Madre Terra e da lì risale sotto forma di energia e vapore e dal cielo ricade e aiuta un altro seme a germogliare e crescere finché anche il nuovo albero avrà una Goccia di Vita da rilasciare. In questo albero io ho visto e sentito il mio bambino che stava per arrivare ... talmente piccolo... appunto: una Goccia e come tale prendere il suo posto in questo oceano.
Tra Cielo e Terra,
proteso e generoso, un albero
ascolta il lento passare del tempo.
Con la sua rassicurante presenza,
apparentemente avulsa da tutto,
mi riporta ad una dimensione eterna.
…..Sono questo albero, respiro tremula di
foglie nuove…..
Lo contemplo e provo forte il desiderio di
perdermi in essa….. vivere e basta.

Drops of Life in Copper
My tree "Drops of Life," born in 1997, is for me the most important work. I was expecting my son Alessandro. For me, it represents the continuous cycle of energy and life itself, embodying the utmost polarity between heaven and earth. The Drop that falls into the ground, understood as vital sap, nourishes the tree itself, which, by sinking its roots, connects to the center of Mother Earth. From there, it rises in the form of energy and vapor, falling from the sky to help another seed germinate and grow until the new tree also has a Drop of Life to release. In this tree, I saw and felt my baby who was about to arrive... so small... precisely: a Drop, and as such, taking its place in this ocean.
Between Heaven and Earth,
outstretched and generous, a tree
listens to the slow passage of time.
With its reassuring presence,
seemingly detached from everything,
it brings me back to an eternal dimension.
…I am this tree, trembling breath of
new leaves…
I contemplate it and feel a strong desire to
lose myself in it… to live and nothing more.
